AI Usage Policy

1. Free conversations and public help

Messages and replies in the ED assistant are platform-funded and do not debit user AI credits. Public questions, support, feedback and catalogue discovery can be available without login, subject to rate limits and safety controls.

Guests are limited to 1,200 characters per message and 80 messages per day per connection; the mini assistant keeps at most 10 guest messages for 24 hours. Guest conversations can be migrated to your account after login.

Login is required for account data, saved history, private files, purchases, credits and authenticated workflows. The assistant may use only the private data that the backend authorises for the signed-in user.

2. Explicit generation operations

Credits are used only when the user starts an explicit generation or editing operation, such as an ebook, image, presentation, graphic design, audiobook narration, project, editor action or another operation identified by the platform.

The conversation that prepares or explains a generation remains free. The underlying operation is measured through its actual provider usage and may use a reservation while a multi-step project is running.

Users with only free credits are limited to 3 AI file operations and 1 AI project per day. For audiobook narration, a cost estimate is frozen before generation and adjusted to the real cost afterwards; failed or cancelled generations are not charged.

3. Credit balance, pricing and pauses

The platform shows active credit packages and the applicable price before purchase. A generation can pause when the available balance is insufficient; completed work and eligible checkpoints are preserved when the workflow supports recovery.

Unused reserved credits may be returned when generation finishes or is cancelled. A failed provider call, retry or resumed workflow may have its own measured usage according to the action and pricing configuration.

4. Privacy and user responsibility

Prompts, selected files, context and technical usage data may be processed by Edutecka and its authorised infrastructure or AI providers to deliver the requested operation, measure usage and protect the service.

When the mini assistant is used with page sharing enabled, the browser sends only a sanitized text snapshot of the visible fields; scripts and sensitive names are removed before reaching the service.

Do not submit passwords, payment credentials, private keys or confidential information that is not necessary for the task. Review generated text, images and designs before publishing, selling, teaching or making decisions.

5. Responsible use and limitations

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, unavailable or unsuitable for a particular purpose. It is not professional, legal, medical, financial or academic advice and must not be used as the sole basis for high-stakes decisions.

The assistant guides you to the right page but cannot currently perform purchases, bookings, payments or account changes on your behalf. Any future assisted action will ask for your explicit confirmation first.

Abuse, automated misuse, attempts to bypass controls, requests for secrets, unlawful content and harmful use may be refused, rate-limited or blocked.
